The Orobie Alps Resort is in Roncobello, at 1,000 meters above sea level, in the Upper Brembana Valley. The village lies in the middle of a sunny plateau in the middle of a green valley, a lateral of the eastern Brembana Valley, crossed by the stream Valsecca.
The village of Roncobello is surrounded by pine forests and pristine nature, in the frame of the Bergamo Orobie, ideal place for walks, trekking excursions, sports activities and relaxation in the greenery all year long. Equipped with sports fields, picnic areas and spaces dedicated to children, Roncobello offers activities for adults and children, for lovers of sports and relaxation.
The Orobie Alps Resort is located in a quiet and peaceful location on the outskirts of the residential area, directly overlooking the wonderful mountains of the Brembana Valley. From here it is possible to set off for many nature trails of different difficulty level, from simple walks to alpine excursions or trips to go discovering ancient villages along cultural and artistic paths.
The hotel is at about 50 km from Bergamo and 90 km from Milan and is easily reachable through the main roads.
To arrive in Roncobello exit at the toll booth of Dalmine along the A4 Milan-Venice motorway and follow indications for the Brembana Valley. Go along the 470 SS road till Piazza Brembana, then continue towards Foppolo until the junction for Roncobello (on the right). To reach the Orobie Alps Resort from the junction go straight for about 6 km, go past the suburbs of Bordogna and Baresi. The hotel is at the end of the residential area, on the right.
Roncobello is also reachable by bus from the Bergamo bus station (in Piazzale Marconi, in front of the railway station) changing bus in Piazza Brembana. The trip duration is approximately of 1h and 45 minutes. For information and timetables refer to the website of the transport company: http://www.arriva.it/.
For those arriving by plane at the Milan-Orio al Serio Airport (BGY Il Caravaggio) it is possible to reach Roncobello and the Brembana Valley by coach. The Airport Bus, running every 20 minutes, daily connects the airport of Bergamo-Orio al Serio with the Bergamo train station, at walking distance from the city center. The coaches for Piazza Brembana, with change in Roncobello, leave from the bus station, which is in front of the train station.
